Fink & Partner GmbH is a company for software development with a long history of experience in the foundry industry that sells a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) solution called [FP]-LIMS.
[FP]-LIMS is a cross-industry software solution that can adapt to different laboratories' requirements. In specific, [FP]-LIMS fits harmonically metallurgical laboratory requirements, such as for foundries, steelworks, metal recycling, trade, refining, non-ferrous metals, automotive, and testing. Thanks to its sophisticated modular structure [FP]-LIMS is a flexible and customizable solution, which means Fink & Partner GmbH can fulfill the most specific requirements in a short time and offers three different editions according to the needs of your team: Light Edition, for one user and one measurement instrument, Standard Edition, for more users and devices to be connected, and Professional for big teams with various measurement devices and the possibility to combine the modules.
Who is Fink & Partner GmbH?
Fink & Partner GmbH is a German company for software development that affirmed its presence on the international market in the early 2000s selling [DIA] Analysis Management, now known as [FP]-LIMS. [DIA], also known through the names of its different editions DIA2000, DIA2000SE, [DIA] Basic, [DIA] Light, has been being supplied with SPECTRO Analytical Instrument’s spectrometers since 2002.
Founded in 1992 by Hans-Jochen Fink and Peter Niemann and with over 6000 installations worldwide, Fink & Partner GmbH has a strong connection with SPECTRO, not just for the business idea but also for the development of the software solution.
Peter Niemann used to work at SPECTRO’s until 1991 as a software engineer, where he deeply learned the fundamentals of instrument hardware. Knowing in-depth the hardware gave the inspiration to create the software.

Since 2020 [FP]-LIMS has the certified interface to communicate with SAP S/4HANA®, the ERP upper-level system designed for the next generation business.
