10 years ago, the technical center was opened in the historic ASK facilities in Hilden. Since then, ASK has been running the project with passion and in close cooperation with its customers. The celebration was a fitting tribute to such an anniversary.
Jörg Brotzki, EMEA Executive Vice President of ASK Chemicals and CEO Frank Coenen were delighted to welcome more than 120 guests from the foundry industry manufacturers and suppliers, as well as the key representatives of the industry‘s associations and universities. The brilliantly organized festive evening was followed by a day of exciting lectures. Especially in times of change and upheaval, the willingness to innovate is especially important, but also the fostering of established networks and trust.

The technical center helps to achieve customer-oriented, solution-oriented results and was thus a milestone project. That's what they want to build on at ASK: the challenges of an increasingly networked industry with faster development cycles require the highest levels of innovation. This concerns foundry chemistry as well as the competition for the best engineers and the achievement of the highest environmental standards and limit values worldwide. Over the past 10 years, ASK Chemicals has continuously invested to provide its customers with value-added products and solutions. The most recent investment is the 3D printing laboratory set up two years ago for the application-oriented development of inorganic and organic binders for 3D sand printing.
