FOCHEM INTERNATIONAL (PTY) LTD. / South Africa - YOUR CHEMICAL EXPERT - INNOVATIVE Tribological Solutions Worldwide

Reading time: min

Recently graphite has been increasingly difficult to procure, with prices rising and graphite of lower purity being offered. This is the result of graphite world shortage. Graphite is a key raw material for Fochem International’s products.

In 2012 Fochem International installed a unique new milling plant. We are now able to process raw pieces of graphite into nano particle size. This will make our company independent from the worldwide resource market for fine graphite powders.

Fine graphite powders are used as a base for the following products:

Lubricating oils and greases, dry lubricant films, packing and seals, rubber and plastics, extrusion lubricants, release agents, drawing compounds, forging, wire drawing, TV tubes, brake linings, clutch facings, batteries, conductive coatings, colour pigments, powder metallurgy etc.
