On March 11, 2022, Gottfried Sihler was appointed management spokesman by the supervisory board of the iron foundry Fritz Winter GmbH & Co. KG in Stadtallendorf. He succeeds the long-time managing director Jörg Rumikewitz, who will leave the company at the end of September. The aim is that Fritz Winter should stand as a beacon for the future of iron casting, explained the 49-year-old Sihler.
In the past, Gottfried Sihler held various management positions in Germany and abroad at Robert Bosch, Bosch Rexroth and ZF Friedrichshafen. Sihler had already joined the family company in October 2021 as a senior financial advisor and member of the management board.
In September 2021, the new position of Labor Director had previously been filled with Klaus G. Mager. From October 2022, the new management at Fritz Winter will consist of Gottfried Sihler, Ulf M. Kranz, Gunter Barnstorff and Klaus G. Mager.
