GK Europe GmbH, the European division of vibratory equipment manufacturer General Kinematics, relocated its headquarters to a new office in Essen, Germany.

The move was prompted by growing business demands and the acquisition of German vibratory equipment company CYRUS in 2021. The new office provides a larger, more collaborative space for increasing employee numbers to ensure the company can continue expanding to meet rising customer demands.

The new office space allowed GK Europe to streamline some of its processes and centralize its warehouse management and logistics, providing GK Europe’s customers with quick responses and improved delivery times. In addition, GKE upgraded its IT infrastructure and communication systems. This modernized infrastructure allows them to better serve Europe’s mining, foundry, and recycling industries.

Davide Gado, General Manager of GK Europe, remarked: “The importance of team building and unity can never be underestimated. By changing our location, we are achieving our goals in many different respects: cutting commuting time for a good number of our employees adds to a more relaxed work day, which in turn improves performance and positive communication within the team; having more space available allowed us to create a space that is conducive to collaboration: both the personal workspace and the common areas of the office have been built around this concept and put people and the team in the center; we have created an environment that meets all modern ergonomic principles, and we have also focused on often overlooked details like air quality, as we strongly believe that well-being is an important contributor to productivity and efficiency. We are very happy to have opened this new ‘house’ when our company is positively expanding globally, and we are now prepared for more.”
