The bright future of metal casting was on display at CastExpo 2022, which concluded its successful four-day run in Columbus on Tuesday. Some 4 800 metal casters, suppliers, buyers and students explored the exhibits and equipment and attended more than 100 sessions covering all areas of metal casting production and management. A total of 288 exhibitors participated in CastExpo 2022.
Popular events included the Volunteer Leadership Awards Luncheon and Annual Banquet, two keynote lectures and the Hoyt Memorial Lecture, an "Iron vs. Aluminium Debate" and many other technical sessions, management sessions ranging from personal branding to inclusion, AFS Institute courses, competitions for metalcasting students, and networking events for Women in Metalcasting and Future Leaders of Metalcasting.
Supported by the sponsors, exhibitors, presenters, attendees and student volunteers, CastExpo was a great success and a commitment to attendance. Next year's Metalcasting Congress will be held in Cleveland from 25 to 27 April 2023.
