The Industry Stage, Application Stage, and Technology Stage will again host discussions on current applications, technological developments, as well as overarching and future-oriented topics in additive manufacturing. The Call for Speakers is now open, providing leading production experts with the opportunity to share their knowledge and innovations with the global AM community.

The multistage conference program is open to all trade fair visitors, promoting the exchange of technologies and application knowledge across the world of 3D printing. This aligns perfectly with the key goals of Formnext attendees: expanding technical knowledge, gaining inspiration for new applications, and fostering successful networking.

“The multistage program is an integral part of the leading AM trade show in Frankfurt. It helps to further disseminate knowledge about additive manufacturing, which ultimately promotes wider adoption of generative processes and unlocks new applications,” says Christoph Stüker, Vice President Formnext, Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH.

This year, the Formnext program has been further refined to address the topics rated as particularly relevant by last year’s visitors. These include Design for AM, new products and technologies, business cases, automation, AM services, occupational safety in AM, bioprinting, startups and financing, and sustainability.

Cross-Industry Innovations, Technological Trends & Practical Applications in Focus

Organized into thematic blocks, experts and users on the Application Stage will present forward-looking solutions from a wide range of industries—from architecture and automation to medical and dental technology, the automotive sector, electronics, and tool & mold making. The 2025 program will place particular emphasis on aerospace, jewelry and watches, and mechanical and plant engineering.

Especially in aerospace, additive manufacturing is not only a key application area but also a vital pillar in the advancement of this innovative technology. The number of 3D-printed components in aircraft continues to grow, and the production of rockets and satellites is now unthinkable without additive manufacturing. Mechanical engineering leverages AM to improve machine performance, while the jewelry and watch sector has evolved into an exciting niche where 3D printing drives new trends and boosts the efficiency of luxury goods production.

The Industry Stage will host discussions among entrepreneurs, experts, and industry stakeholders on broader topics like sustainability and the industrialization of AM. Other relevant subjects include startups, investment and funding, standards and qualifications, professional training, and talent development. A key focus will be the role of artificial intelligence in additive manufacturing, including data management, cybersecurity, design for AM, and the industrial metaverse.

On the Technology Stage, solutions and services from Formnext exhibitors will be showcased. Every day of the trade fair will feature presentations and discussions on new developments along the AM process chain.

Speaker Opportunities

By presenting at Formnext 2025, experts can position themselves before an international audience and contribute to shaping the future of additive manufacturing.
