Hosted by Simpson, Saint-Gobain North America, Inductotherm Corp., Foseco, and MAGMA Foundry Technologies, Inc., the event was a powerful demonstration of collaboration, hands-on education, and shared commitment to the foundry industry.

With representatives from 21 foundries and over 50 participants in attendance, the event brought together a broad cross-section of the metalcasting community. Through in-depth technical presentations, open discussions, and practical solutions, participants tackled some of the most pressing challenges facing the industry today.

The host companies delivered valuable insights on topics such as gating and riser systems, melting, molding, sand cooling and reclamation, process control, and sustainability—equipping attendees with actionable knowledge to take back to their own operations.

And of course, no visit to Road America would be complete without a taste of speed: participants also had the chance to take some thrilling laps in Corvettes, adding an extra dose of adrenaline to two days filled with learning and networking.

This event was more than just a training session—it was a testament to what’s possible when foundries come together to support one another. From technical deep dives to high-speed laps, this experience highlighted the strength of an industry that continues to grow through collaboration and the exchange of expertise.
