On behalf of the entire team at DGS Druckguss System AG in St. Gallen, Switzerland, CEO Andreas Müller was delighted to receive the award from the laudators Dr. Erwin Flender, Lars Steinheider and BDG President Clemens Küpper.

The company was honored for outstanding products in die casting. DGS Druckguss Systeme AG is an internationally active company with sites in Switzerland, the Czech Republic and China. As the former die-casting foundry of Bühler AG, DGS has acquired a wealth of experience over 50 years and at the same time has always adapted quickly to changing challenges. In recent years, they have focused intensively on their core business in aluminum and magnesium die casting, which is reflected in their machinery, services and all value-added steps along the process chain.

Peter R. Sahm

The Peter R. Sahm Prize of the German Foundry Industry is an award presented by the German foundry industry. The prize is awarded to individuals or groups who have made exceptional contributions in the fields of research, technology development or innovation in foundry technology. The prize is named after Peter R. Sahm, Director of the Foundry Institute at RWTH Aachen University from 1979 to 2002.
