The 33-year-old is not only the best foundry mechanic in the chamber district of Mittlerer Niederrhein, but also the best in his year in the whole of North Rhine-Westphalia. Mr Mahramanli celebrated this special success together with his trainer Eugen Müller at the "IHK-Landesbestenehrung NRW 2022" on 11 November. All 16 chamber districts in North Rhine-Westphalia came together for the state award ceremony, which was organised this year by the Bergische IHK in the historic town hall in Wuppertal. All in all, the best apprentices from over 150 professions were honoured with a corresponding certificate.
"Together with START NRW, we have been successfully training foundry mechanics for many years. We are very proud that this proven cooperation has brought us a special success this year. We congratulate Mr Recep Mahramanli on this exceptionally good achievement. It shows once again the extraordinarily good quality of the training at Siempelkamp," explained Dr. Georg Geier, Managing Director of Siempelkamp Foundry. Recep Mahramanli has, of course, been taken on by the foundry and is currently working as a journeyman in the laboratory of the world market leader for hand mould casting solutions.
