What initially seemed impossible became reality through strong teamwork:
On September 3, 2025, the project started with a clear objective – the newly purchased second-hand induction melting furnace (Plasma) had to produce its first melt at HegerFerrit in Enkenbach by the end of the month to secure the casting license.
The problem: there was no furnace foundation yet, and such a foundation would normally require four weeks of drying time...
But instead of giving up, everyone pulled together:
Already on September 4, preparations began under the direction of TCT Tesic – supported by Heger Ferrit (Björn Ploch and Oliver Kolb) and IMES (Jan Janssen). Two old foundation segments were cut out at Reckers, transported, and immediately installed. Within just five days, the entire furnace was dismantled, loaded, and delivered to Enkenbach.
In parallel, construction workers, fitters, hydraulic specialists and electricians worked day and night on the installation. Only two days before the first melt, IMES successfully performed the cold start – just in time!
Thanks to precise planning, excellent coordination, and true team spirit, the deadline was met.
A great example of what experience, trust, and collaboration can achieve in the industrial environment.
A big thank you to everyone involved for their commitment and professionalism!
